Aliens Can Communicate Through Newly Discovered Supernova

Hello, hello, Martian! Here, astronomers are speaking in search of real evidence of its existence and it seems that we are getting closer and closer to an answer!

A recent scientific discovery indicates that a supernova found 21 million light-years from Earth could become a potential beacon for interstellar communication.

Astronomers at the University of Washington closely monitor SN 2023ixf, located in the galaxy Pinwheel, this being the closest stellar explosion witnessed in a decade.

According to the latest scientific theory, researchers explore the possibility of at least 100 supernovae are located 300 light-years from Earth and are now investigating the existence of inhabited planets in their surroundings.

If these supernovae are observed by extraterrestrial civilizations, it is likely that they will use them as a lure for interplanetary communication.

Scientific discovery may be close to identifying aliens

The team led by James Davenport, at the National Astronomical Observatory in Gozo, detected the supernova SN2023ixf, revealing that it is a Type II supernova that originated from a star with eight times the mass of Sun.

By making use of the “SETI Ellipsoid”, the researchers explored an area with the shape similar to that of a egg, in which alien civilizations are presumed to have adequate time to observe events astronomical.

In this survey, the region in question encompasses approximately 100 nearby stars.

Astronomers are using the Allen Telescope Array (ATA) in North Carolina and the Robert C. Byrd Green Bank in Virginia to study these stars and investigate the existence of inhabited planets around them, continuing with the expectation of finding aliens.

In an interview with New Scientist, Davenport acknowledged that the possibility of making contact with aliens is lower, but he believes it is worth a try. For the researcher, science may have ignored the signal for years and that, consequently, they did not strive to understand.
