According to her affectionate owner, she loves to jump and sniff around in the sand, and when her owner calls her with a simple whistle, she quickly returns to him.
“We recently moved to the coast and found that Jill loves walking there”, says Pete.
He further continued:
“She is incredibly obedient and well trained – as well trained as a dog – so we knew she wouldn’t fly.”, highlighted Pete Godson.
Letting Jill walk on the beach has become a daily ritual as she simply loves to feel the sea breeze and the texture of the sand under her feet.
As a father of five, Pete knows that not everyone understands the love his family has for their pets.
“Some people think we are bananas for bringing a macaw with us”, he says. “But Jill is amazing, she is the best part of a dog, but she also has her own unique personality.”
Although he has had problems in the past with neighbors regarding the noise generated by his eight parrots, Pete has not had any problems at his new home in Minehead, Somerset.
