Just as everything has its beginning, some devices are heading towards the end of the update. This is expected to happen with all the technological devices that we have at our fingertips, since none of them were programmed to last for many years. This time, some Samsung devices are in the final stretch of income.
Cell phones or tablets from the South Korean company are about to miss the update, as has happened with other devices from the same brand. The experts from GalaxyClub noted that Samsung ended support for three smartphones, namely the Galaxy A40, A20 and A10, launched in the first months of 2019.

Samsung ends update for phones and tablets
If you thought that current cell phones have an expiration date, you were right in the analysis! Samsung ends support participation just 4 years after the launch of the device. Soon, consumers who have these lines will find the device increasingly slower and less secure.
The Galaxy A40 and A10 still received the last software update that happened in March of this year and still manage to remain available for a while longer. For the Galaxy A20, the story is different, as the device stopped receiving the update in December 2022 and may be close to presenting its last days of life.
In addition to cell phones, old tablets will also no longer receive the update, they are: Galaxy Tab A with S Pen (SM-P205x), Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (SM-T51x) and Galaxy Tab S5e (SM-T72x). Just like cell phones, these devices were released in the first six months of 2019, only lasting 4 years after launch.
The quality of these devices that have stopped receiving updates will be valid for up to a year and a half from now. They are not completely unprotected, but some functions may be impaired over time.
