B3 offers free technology training for women

The Brazilian Stock Exchange (B3) is launching a free technology training for women across the country. With focus in languages ​​ofschedule, the course intends to train 50 qualified professionals for the job market, with some of these openings on the Exchange itself. For those interested, registrations go until August 2nd and must be made through the letscode. See more below.

The courses, which will have more than 432 hours of content, will take 6 months of practical knowledge in the area of ​​technology, such as programming logic, languages, etc. To participate, interested parties must meet some requirements, such as: being a cisgender or transgender woman, being 18 years old or older, being a resident of Brazil and having completed high school. In addition, you must have time available to attend classes online.

Selective process

Developed through a partnership with Let’s Code, the exam will have a selection process that involves 4 phases: practical logic test, personal presentation with video of up to 3 minutes, dynamics and coding tank. Before going through all the stages, the candidates will also be able to choose one of the paths they want to follow in the classes, since one is focused on DevOps and the other on Java.

Those who get approval will be able to start classes on September 14, 2022, being held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Check out the schedule below:

  • Until 02/08: Registrations;
  • 28/07: Live Women in Programming;
  • 03/08: Let's Code logic test;
  • In between 05/08 It is 08/08: Presentation video submission;
  • In between 16/08 It is 18/08: Online group dynamics;
  • In 24/08 The 05/09: Coding Tank;
  • 08/09: Disclosure of results;
  • 14/09: Beginning of classes.

After 6 months, B3 already considers the students fully qualified to enter the job market.
