Not far behind in second place is Belarus, a nation of eastern europe which had a considerable consumption of butter, with an average of 10.4 pounds per person.

In addition to the two countries mentioned above, India also stands out in butter consumption, ranking third on the list of top consumers. Indians enjoy this food at an average of 10 pounds per person, demonstrating a significant preference.

Meanwhile, China is at the opposite end of the ranking, occupying 15th place. With a consumption of just 0.39 pounds per person, butter is not as popular in the Chinese diet.
