Journalist Tom Henderson, from the portal Insider Gaming, found new information about what is being developed by Sony. He is known as one of the greatest sources of what's behind the scenes in technology. According to the source, a new PlayStation, in the portable version, is being developed by the company.
The hardware was named Q Lite and could be a device that does not support its own games, working directly connected to the PS5 through Remote Play. The technology allows for an exact connection to access console games even when you are at a distance. The source believes that Sony will announce the device soon.

For fans of Sony's retractable games, the model will be similar to OS Vita and PSP. However, these two devices were a kind of complete video game and did not need other connections to function.
The Q Lite, according to the journalist, features a screen with a resolution of 1080p, eight inches, with lighter images of the device's games. Possibly, the new technology will require an uninterrupted internet connection to be able to access the games, in addition to being dependent on the PS5 to function.
The need for connection indicates that there are no possibilities to access the games offline. The launch's design goes back to the old idea and already known to PlayStation consumers, as it is similar to a video game controller. The model will have the version touch screen, touch sensitive, regular headphone input and external buttons.
Along with the possibility of this new release, PlayStation consumers are also waiting for the launch of the PS5 Pro. Both new technologies have not been confirmed by the technology company. There are assumptions that the PS5 Pro model will be released by the end of 2024, only next year.
