All drinks that were part of the podium are from a winery located in Rio Grande do Sul, an unprecedented fact in the history of Brazilian winemaking. This was the first time that this achievement happened.

With regard to wines, the classification was as follows:

  • 1st place: Amitié Viognier;
  • 2nd place: Amitié Brut;
  • 3rd place: Amitié Cuvée Brut.

All are from the Amitié winery in Rio Grande do Sul. In addition to wines, the company also produces high quality sparkling wines, with versatile and modern labels.

Amitié made history. This is because for the first time, in twenty years of competition, a White wine Brazilian won a medal. The Viognier is aged in French oak barrels and has a buttery touch and hints of peach and mandarin.

Brut, on the other hand, took the silver medal due to its fresh touch with fresh fruit and floral notes. To close the podium, we have the Cuvée Brut, made with classic Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes.
