As much as Nestlé claims this chocolate as its invention in the 1930s, it is not known for sure when this delicious type appeared. The Food Historian suggests it may be older, perhaps dating back to 1916 or even earlier. The fact is that Nestlé was definitely the first company to launch a candy White Chocolate with a large scale production in 1936 which was the Milkybar, better known today as Galak.
