This plant, which belongs to the Araceae family, depends on some basic care for it to grow in a healthy way. Find out how to take care of Peace Lilies, from planting to day-to-day maintenance, here at School Education!
Planting care
Planting care is essential for the development of any plant, and the Peace Lily is no exception. To plant it, ensure a space larger than the clod of the seedling, in addition to adding pebbles or sand for better drainage in the vase.
A recommendation from experts is to mix topsoil, common earth and construction sand in a 1: 1: 1 ratio. This mixture will provide a richer soil, as the use of earthworm humus will ensure greater fertility. Also, don't forget to center the seedling and leave it at ground level.
Environment
Care for the environment is related to the lighting of this plant. In that case, the ideal thing is for it to be cultivated in half shade, and it can be in environments with a certain amount of light, but without direct contact with the sun. In nature, the Peace Lily tends to grow under trees, which explains its predilection for shadows.

Watering Care
Watering the Peace Lily takes the following criterion: the soil must be moist, but not soaked. To do so, you can water your plant two to three times a week, always observing the period/season of the year in which this watering takes place. On hot days, sprays of water on your leaves are very welcome!
pruning
Pruning is not prohibited during the flowering period of Peace Lilies. On the contrary, this procedure helps a lot in the health and vigor of the plant. You can pluck dead flowers or those that are more yellowed and withering. Finally, to do the pruning, use clean scissors and cut the entire branch as close to the ground as possible, right?
