To prove the regularity of your vehicle, a document is issued annually to drivers called Vehicle Registration and Licensing Certificate (CRLV). Whenever a driver is behind the wheel, he must have his certificate in his possession. If he happens to be stopped and does not have the certificate in hand, he may be fined or even punished.
In the course of the matter we teach you how to generate your document digitally.

Drivers must drive with the CRLV in hand
CRLV allows public agents to identify which vehicles have irregularities or are able to walk on the streets, such a measure aims to guarantee the population. Once a car is designated as safe, it is possible to issue a certificate CRLV online. This alternative allows anyone to obtain one without having the physical document in hand.
From now on, drivers must always have the digital version of the certificate at hand. If they have problems issuing it, they should immediately seek help to see if any revisions are needed. These changes occurred due to implemented changes. Until 2020, the certificate was delivered by the Post Office to the drivers' homes.
Learn how to issue the document
The first step to issue the certificate is to download the National Driver's License (CNH) application or access the National Traffic Secretariat (Senatran) website. Then, it will be necessary to inform the data of the vehicle holder on the platform. This data is the same as that used to access the platforms of the Federal Government.
When accessing the digital platform, just click on “Vehicles”, then on “Add a CRLV”. Fill in the data requested by the platform and enter the security code provided in the Vehicle Registration Certificate.
After registering, just check if the document can be issued. If the document does not appear, there is probably some pending issue preventing the CRLV from being issued. In these cases, it is necessary to solve the problem, which may be related to late fees, such as IPVA or DPVAT insurance.
