Google introduces new features in search
The news presented by Google highlights its competition with artificial intelligence search rivals such as You.com and Perplexity AI.
Rany Ng, vice president of research, emphasizes that Google has a unique advantage in leveraging own data, containing information on 35 billion products and over 190 million places with feedbacks.
Google also unveiled a new feature called “Add to Sheets” that will be rolling out soon.
This functionality will allow users to directly enter search results into a spreadsheet and share this information with others, such as friends, family or co-workers, with whom they wish to collaborate.
To gain access to new resources, the user needs to sign up for Search Labs, Google's testing ground for new search-related technologies.
By enrolling in Search Labs, users will have the opportunity to experience first-hand the innovations in research developed by Google and provide valuable feedback to improve these features before their release official.
Currently, this option is only available in English in the United States and it is not yet known for sure when the novelty will be launched in Brazil.
