Eugênio Tadeu Gomes Amorim, born in Rio de Janeiro, graduated in the Physiotherapy course at the Augusto Mota University Society (SUAM), is today one of the biggest names in wrestling in Brazil.
Specialist in martial arts, his main modalities are: capoeira, Thai boxing and wrestling. Several times he played MMA, having many titles on his resume.
Eugênio Tadeu started his life as a fighter at the age of fourteen with capoeira. At eighteen he started practicing Thai boxing under the command of prof. Flávio Molina, and soon stood out, winning the titles of Brazilian Champion, Carioca de Interclubes and Interstate.
Intent on becoming an even more complete fighter, he began to dedicate himself to learning wrestling with prof. Faust Bruno Cilla and Carlos Bruno Cilla. From the traumatic fight, from the low punches and kicks, located in the thigh, that characterize Thai boxing, he would move to wrestling, characterized by twists and whose objective is to lead the opponent to the floor.
Looking to improve himself more and more in wrestling, where he is part of the lightweight division (70 to 75 kg), Eugênio, in addition to competing championships began to also devote himself to teaching the sport in his academy, training MMA fighters and athletes like Alan Carvalho, Brazilian MMA champion, in Rio de Janeiro in December 1997 and Alexandre Franca, ´´Shoto`` champion, in Japan in April 1998.
Wherever he goes, he leaves champions and his name as an example of discipline, determination, objectivity, respect for opponents and his technical teachings, which make him the 2nd. placed in the World Vale-Tudo Ranking.
Thanks to Eugênio Tadeu, today wrestling is taught by his graduate students in several academies in Rio de Janeiro, further promoting this sport AWAY FROM DROGAS.
