The total will be 100 vacancies for face-to-face classes. They will take place on Saturdays at the Ufes Central building on the Alegre campus. In addition to them, face-to-face and online monitoring will also be available during the week.

Classes are scheduled to start on February 11th and will run until November of this year.

Who will teach the classes?

Classes will be taught by four undergraduate students and will be guided by professors from Ufes. In addition, there will be a fellow who will be responsible for the organization, dissemination and control of attendance in classes.

Partnership

The course, in addition to being free and offered by Ufes, has a partnership with CreaJr-ES, a program non-profit linked to the Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy of Espírito Santo (Crea-ES). This council is formed only by students and recent graduates in courses such as Engineering, Agronomy and Geoscience.

The program was designed and then created to help senior students from the public high school network and the community in Alegre. The subjects that will be part of the course will be: Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

According to teachers and coordinators, there has already been a pilot project that took place from August to November 2022 with 30 students. After realizing that it was a success, they decided to increase the number of places on the course.
