Step by step for tapioca mousse
To make this recipe is very simple, just follow the guidelines:
Ingredients needed for tapioca mousse
Check the list if you have all the necessary items to reproduce the recipe:
- 1 can of condensed milk from the brand of your choice;
- 1 box of milk cream;
- 1 bag of tasteless jello;
- 1 bottle of coconut milk;
- 200 ml of liquid milk (or a measure of a glass of cottage cheese);
- 1 kg of tapioca;
- 100 g of grated coconut.
for the syrup
- 200 ml of water;
- 6 tablespoons of sugar.
Step by step to prepare the mousse
- First, it is necessary to soak the tapioca flour with the milk and half of the coconut milk, all in a bowl, and let it hydrate until it has a soft and uniform texture. Reserve.
- In the meantime, prepare the syrup. For this, the two ingredients must be in a pan, and just turn on the fire (no need to stir). When you notice that the sugar has dissolved, it is time to turn it off and distribute the contents in a mold. Reserve.
- In this step we will use the blender: beat the condensed milk, the grated coconut, the cream and what's left of the bottle of coconut milk used in step 1. Once this is done, it is necessary to dissolve the unflavored gelatin, as indicated on the back of the package, and add it to the blender.
- After beating well, add the mixture of tapioca + condensed milk + coconut milk made in step 1, mixing with a spoon.
- In the mold with the syrup (step 2), add the mixture from step 4 and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- To unmold, it is recommended to heat the bottom of the mold to loosen it more easily.
- After following these steps, just cut and serve!
