The opportunity to study abroad from Brazil is closer than you can imagine! The year 2023 began and with it new opportunities arose. To graduate students who dream of studying abroad, this is the time! The news is that Germany is offering a postgraduate scholarship for students residing in several countries.

With the main objective of qualifying and receiving new students from developing countries, the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD), part of the local government responsible for exchanges, Offers scholarships for Master's and Doctoral candidates. Below you can find more information about the courses available:

Scholarship in Germany

Scholarships count with three and a half years of experience in Germany. It will be 1,200 euros per month (converted, around R$6,600) for doctoral candidates and 934 euros per month (converted, around R$5,510) for master's students.

In addition to the fixed amounts, there are chances of receiving additional health care to stay in the country, and there are possibilities to pay for the trip. Depending on the case, the student may be entitled to take companions, such as spouse and children, receiving a scholarship to pay for housing.

Students from the Philippines, Bolivia, Turkey, Paraguay, Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela and Syria will be eligible for the free scholarship. Professional experience of at least two years in the field is also required.

Those interested can apply through the DAAD portal itself. Candidates need to be elected directly on the website of the universities participating in the exchange program and check the deadlines for each institution.
