Enem 2023: registration ends this Friday, but fee can be paid…
Considered one of the most competitive courses at SiSU, the medical career has vacancies in different universities in Brazil.
Although the MEC assessment is responsible for determining which courses are the best, this is not the criterion that defines the cutoff score for the exam.
At SISU, the number of vacancies is decisive to establish the students' score, as well as the number of applications for the vacancy. In 2022.1, the Medicine course recorded the highest cutoff score for SiSU, with 919.70 points, at the Federal University of Amapá (UNIFAP).
On the other hand, the lowest cutoff scores for medicine were registered predominantly between the North and Northeast regions of the country, with scores below 800 points. Still, these are grades considered high compared to other courses.
In the following list, you can see which are the courses with the lowest cutoff scores in the 2022.1 edition of SiSU, all in the broad competition mode:
- Federal University of Roraima, in the city of Boa Vista: 784.37
- State University of Feira de Santana, in the same city, located in Bahia: 784.15
- Federal University of Delta do Parnaíba, in the city of the same name, in Piauí: 783.92
- State University of Mato Grosso, in the city of Cáceres: 782.41
- Federal Rural University of the Semi-Arid, in Mossoró, Rio Grande do Norte: 773.83
Attention to deadlines
The SiSU cut-off scores undergo daily changes, as the MEC updates the system. Therefore, a student who, until the penultimate day was classified, may lose the vacancy. Thus, it is important to be aware of the site every day.
In Medicine, there will be 4,596 vacancies distributed across 23 states in the country and in the Federal District, in 88 public institutions in Brazil.
But attention must be paid to timeline: Registration starts on February 16, 2023 and runs until February 24, 2023. The result will be published on the 28th of February and on the 2nd of March enrollment for those approved will begin.
