Different social benefits are passed on monthly to those enrolled in the Single Registry of Social Programs (CadÚnico). For 2023, there is Bill 2904/2019 that allows access to the National Driver's License (CNH) for people who have a government record.
Having access to CNH in Brazil is not so simple. Values can reach R$ 4 thousand depending on the state, which makes access difficult for low-income people. Free CNH in 2023 already a reality?
To access CNH Social for free, you must have a monthly family income of up to half a minimum wage and you must have been unemployed for at least 1 year. If you are not registered in CadÚnico, you will at least need to be on the waiting list to be evaluated.
However, the bill was not approved by the National Congress and is still being processed. In the future, if approved, the project will grant a driver's license to those enrolled in the Single Registry and the above rules will apply.
Brazilians enrolled in CadÚnico can have a discount on their electricity bill!
An important advantage for subscribers is access to discounts on the electricity bill. This is the discount known as the Social Electricity Tariff (TSEE) and is available to people in vulnerable financial situations.
The discount is automatically passed on to those who are registered in the government system, so there is no need to move around to gain access.

- Between 101 kWh and 220 kWh – 10% discount;
- Between 31 kWh and 100 kWh – 40% discount;
- Up to 30 kWh – 65% discount.

- Between 101 kWh and 220 kWh – 10%;
- Between 51 kWh and 100 kWh – 40%;
- Up to 50 kWh – 100%.
