Last Tuesday (20), the Government of Goiás made available the 2023/2 Selection Process for the University of Good Program (ProBem). There will be more than 4,000 new scholarships, accounting for 1,000 full and 3,000 partial scholarships.
Thus, students in situations of social vulnerability (according to the Multidimensional Index of Needs of Extended Families - IMCF-A) from across the state will be able to register on the official website of the Goiás Volunteer Organization (OVG) until next July 7th. However, to participate, registration in the CadÚnico of the Federal Government is mandatory.

In addition, it is mandatory to live in Goiás and to be studying in an Institution of University education. The results of the selection process will be available on August 1st.

The idea with ProBem is to ensure that people who are in a situation of poverty or vulnerability in Goiás can study in quality institutions, with scholarships in the various educational institutions of the State.
In addition, there is also the possibility of giving students opportunities for courses and internships that have relationship with the training area, with the Bank of Opportunities, ensuring the insertion of students in the job market work.
And, finally, those who participate in ProBem can also carry out various humanitarian actions, such as blood donation, for example.
Benefits can reach BRL 650 (partial) and BRL 1,500 (full). For medicine and dentistry courses, partial and full fees are R$2,900 and R$5,800, respectively.
Participating institutions and selection criteria
Currently, the Government of Goiás guarantees the inclusion of 83 higher education institutions in the Universidade do Bem Program, which help more than 200 cities in the state.
It is even possible to register other institutions, if the one you are attending is not a participant in the program. However, for the currently open selection process, the institution must already be registered.
In addition, it is necessary that the teaching modality offers face-to-face assistance; it is not possible to receive the benefit who is in a distance, blended or EAD higher education course.
In addition, to be part of the program, the student must be doing their first graduation.
