Blood plasma proteins

Blood plasma corresponds to the soluble portion of the blood, presenting water (occupying 92% of the volume) and considerable concentration of protein substances (approximately 7% of the volume), among which the following:
fibrinogen → elements that act on the coagulation mechanism.
Globulins → fractions that correspond to: antibodies, acting in the body's defense against infections; and lipoproteins that transport lipids, such as HDL (High-density lipoproteins) cholesterol, which prevents formation of atheroma deposits in the wall of the arteries, being, therefore, popularly known as the "good cholesterol".
Albumins → protein that helps regulate blood osmoregulatory control and blood pressure maintenance, in addition to providing the diffusion of hormonal agents and fatty acids, being the most abundant in the composition of the plasma.
However, plasma also provides an important means of transporting figured elements, such as: red blood cells, leukocytes and platelets.
