The Government of Goiás has applications open for young people and children who wish to participate in robotics courses. The initiative is a partnership between the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (Secti) and the Campus Party Institute. In total, 1,500 vacancies will be offered to young people between 10 and 18 years old.
The courses will last 4 months and will be divided into modules, which will include: maker culture, robotics and programming.

The idea is to include young people in situations of social vulnerability, ensuring that this is a differential for their inclusion in the job market.
In this way, young people will be able to choose from one of the 20 laboratories included, spread over 19 municipalities in Goiás. The main theme of the classes will be the computational development of young people, with specific methodologies for software and hardware languages. In addition, they will still put into practice their notions of mechanics, robotics and electricity.
How to enroll in robotics courses?
The first prerequisite is to live in one of the 19 municipalities that have Include laboratories. Enrollment for the course robotics must be done in person at each of the units. The forecast for the start of classes is July 31st and the closing is scheduled for December 8th.

- São Luís de Montes Belos;

- Uruana;
- Porangatu;
- São Miguel do Araguaia;
- Mozarland;
- Monte Alegre de Goiás.
Around 75 vacancies are available in each of the units of the Include laboratories.
Understand the partnership with Campus Party
The Campus Party is the largest technology festival in the country, presenting news in the area and addressing other topics, such as entrepreneurship, disruptiveness and education. In Goiânia, the event took place between June 7 and 11, 2023.
For 2024, the date will be from May 29 to June 2. This year, more than 11,000 people attended the event, sharing and acquiring information about technology, innovation, public policies and more.
