How to use secure folder

Check below guide to enable locked folder on Google Photos on your device android (Unfortunately, the locked folder option is not available for iOS devices):

1. Open the Google Photos app on your phone or tablet;
2. In the footer menu, access “Library” and then click on “Management”;
3. Scroll the page to the end and select “Locked Folder”;
4. If this is your first time accessing the locked folder, Google Photos will ask you to set up a PIN. Choose a PIN that is easy to remember, but ensures your files are safe;
5. After setting the PIN, the locked folder will open and appear empty. Now, you can select and add the files you want to protect. It is worth remembering that the chosen images will not be displayed in the cell phone's camera roll and will not be stored in the cloud. If you delete the app from Google Photos, all files in that folder will be lost;
6. To add a file, simply tap “Move Items” at the bottom of the screen and choose the desired files. You can also add entire folders and other types of documents, as well as photos and videos;
7. After configuring the locked folder for the first time, whenever you need to view, add or remove a file, just follow the same path.
