As part of the protection ecosystem samsungKnox, this functionality enables owners to lock their devices remotely, preventing access to applications and personal data by third parties.
To activate the block, users must provide the CPF or CNPJ number previously registered and the password registered in the service. The Galaxy Lock is linked to the cell phone's IMEI, allowing an instant lock, even if the screen is unlocked or the password has been changed by a third party.
This protection covers all data stored on the device, including appsbanking, social networking and messaging.
Owners of Galaxy S23 5G, Galaxy S22 5G, Galaxy S21 FE 5G, Galaxy Z Fold4 5G, Galaxy Z Fold3 5G, Galaxy Z Flip4 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G will be able to use the Galaxy Lock for free for two years.
In addition, Samsung Care+ subscribers also have the option to activate the service for free while the subscription is in effect, regardless of device model.
For those who do not fit into the categories mentioned above, it will be possible to purchase the Galaxy Padlock through the official website cadadogalaxy.com.br. The service offers two payment options: BRL 39.90 for one year or BRL 59.90 for two years of use.
It is important to point out that the cell phonemust be manufactured in Brazil and cannot have a domain reservation or be registered for business management in order to be eligible for joining the service.
