Google has announced the implementation of a new policy regarding inactive accounts, seeking to optimize its system and avoid the accumulation of unused accounts.

How to avoid having Google account deleted
To avoid deletion, users must log into their accounts before the stipulated deadline. The company also released a list of activities that are considered a way to keep an account active.
Among the activities are the use of services such as Gmail, Google Drive, YouTube, photo sharing, and “Sign in with Google” on third-party platforms.
However, Google has established some exceptions to the opt-out policy. Accounts associated with YouTube channels, videos or comments will not be affected by the measure, as well as those with monetary balance from gift cards or with published applications.
