THIS car left Strada behind and became the best seller in the country

The Federal Government's incentive program came to an end, and in the month of July, the compact hatchbacks had an exceptional performance.

In the first fortnight, the top of the list was the HB20, which won the rank of car best seller in Brazil, counting the units licensed in the period. Thus, the impact of the incentive policies was evident with this change in the sales ranking.

The list of bestsellers in these first 15 days of July had a significant change. Compact hatches, including the Hyundai HB20, Volkswagen Polo and Chevrolet Onix, stood out and overtook Fiat Strada, which ended up falling to fourth position.

In general, compact hatchbacks dominated sales again, while pickup trucks lost their place at the top of the list.

Hyundai's HB20 took the top spot

In the month of July, there were interesting movements in the list of the most sold cars in Brazil. The Hyundai HB20, a Korean model, had an impressive performance, jumping from seventh position in June to partial first place in July.

Meanwhile, the Volkswagen Polo, which topped sales in June, has slipped to second place. The Chevrolet Onix, in turn, remained in third place, but with a significant increase in the volume of salescompared to the previous month.

With the advance of the HB20, the Volkswagen T-Cross saw its position affected, falling to fifth place. In July, the four best-selling cars in Brazil were:

1. Hyundai HB20;

2. Volkswagen Polo;

3. Chevrolet Onix;

4. Fiat Strada.

The Hyundai HB20 took the top spot with 7,417 units sold, closely followed by the volkswagenPolo, which registered 7,368 models sold.

The Chevrolet Onix was in third place with 6,002 units sold, while Fiat Strada occupied the fourth position with 5,156 new cars.
