A 23-year-old elementary school teacher was found dead inside the school where she worked in the Seocho-gu neighborhood of Seoul, capital of Seoul. South Korea. According to preliminary information from the local press, the educator would have taken her own life and the reason is more surprising than you can imagine.

The teacher's body was found last Wednesday, July 19. On the same day, the Seoul Teachers Union issued a notice stating that the teacher was suffering psychological abuse of powerful fathers and mothers whose children were in their class.
According to the union entity, an incident that happened the week before would have been the last straw. A student cut another's forehead with a pencil during one of the teacher's classes. After that, parents showed up at the school to confront the teacher.
She would have heard phrases like “You have no right to be a teacher”.
The Seoul Teachers Union has requested that the Seoul Metropolitan Education Bureau investigate the situation properly. The agency asked the country's Ministry of Education to also participate in the process.

Rumors about the teacher's abuse began to circulate in the mainstream South Korean press.
