In a post on an anonymous online forum, he revealed that he tends to schedule more interviews with male applicants since his field of work is predominantly male.
He shared the concern after a job interview with a candidate, admitting that he felt it would not be a good fit to hire her on her team. He mentioned that he was attracted to the candidate and feared that her presence could negatively impact the work environment.
However, he emphasized that she never acts on her impulses and considers herself committed to her marriage. Despite rejecting it, he acknowledged feeling bad about making that decision.
The manager expressed concern that the hired candidate would become a close presence on his team and feared that this could create complications. He sought advice on how to approach this situation and overcome the guilt associated with these feelings.
