Page is each side of a sheet of paper, not having any pre-defined shape. The page represents a page written and standardized based on its number of characters.
Page is a more general term, used to refer to the pages of a book, notebook, work, etc. The page, most of the time, is used as a unit of measurement for written works, which must obey specific rules, according to the project.

What is a page?
The page is simply each one of the sides of a sheet of paper, of any format, written or not. In documents made on a computer, it represents a unit of measurement in which the user inserts text or image, regardless of the size of the font used or the image.
A notebook, for example, can have an infinity of shapes, sizes and uses, yet each side of each sheet is called a page.
What is a Laud?
Pages are pages defined by standards: format, top, bottom, right, left and number of characters, also called strokes (related to the keys).
There is no single page model, its standards may vary according to its context. For example, in proofreading or translation work, it is common for the page to be the basic unit of measurement for defining the value of the project.
The number of characters per page, in general, vary from 1200 to 2100 characters. According to the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT), a page for the preparation of academic papers consists of:
- A4 format (21 cm × 29.7 cm);
- Left and top margin: 3 cm;
- Right and bottom margin: 2 cm;
- Spacing 1.5 between lines.
