We are featuring a series of publications with christmas recipes in order to increase your options for starters, main courses and desserts, with more classic and less obvious preparations, thus diversifying your supper of Christmas, while offering a delicious dinner for the guests.
To avoid the pave, which is a commonplace of Christmas desserts, in this post, we brought the dried fruit compote recipe as a dessert suggestion.
This compote has the versatility of being able to be served alone or with sides, which makes the difficult task of pleasing everyone a little more possible.
Dried fruit compote recipe
Ingredients
1/2 lemon juice
1/2 bottle of mild white wine
6 carnations
150g of raisins
150g of dried apricot
150g of prunes
02 shanks in stick
50g of refined sugar
1/2 liter of water

Method of preparation
Start by letting the raisins and prunes soak in water for 1 hour. Remove the hydrated fruits from the water and place them in a pan. Add water, sugar, cinnamon stick, cloves, white wine and lemon juice. Simmer for approximately 15 minutes. Finally add the apricot and let it boil for another 5 minutes. Allow to cool and keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
