Two key elements guide the subject that we propose to discuss: mesoclisis and proclisis. These, in turn, integrate the many linguistic facts inherent to grammatical studies that, as such, are conditioned to assumptions previously defined by the grammar itself.
In view of this reality, the correct use of the fact in question depends on the knowledge we have about what the grammar recommends to us. However, it seems that they are often not enough and, because of that, doubts, questions, always tend to arise. Therefore, we elaborated some elucidations, with the purpose of speaking on the use of mesoclisis and the use of proclisis. Thus, so that we can facilitate this understanding, we will support ourselves in some examples.
And it won't be that difficult to find them, as one has already become evident, note:
We will rely on some examples.
We asked you: why couldn't we make use of enclisis (an occurrence in which the oblique pronoun appears after the verb)? If so, the statement would become expressed as follows:
“We will rely on some examples”.
Know that according to what the grammar presents us, such placement is inadequate, given that the verb is conjugated in the future of the present in an indicative way, therefore, we can only use mesoclisis, which is characterized by the fact that the pronoun appears spelled in between the verb, as the first statement presents us (we will subsidize ourselves).
However, as you know, all rules are also subject to exceptions and in this case it would be no different. Let's see:
No US we will subsidize on some examples.
The verb continued to be expressed in the same tense (future of the present tense), however, the pronoun now appeared before of the verb – a fact that makes us conclude that it is about the use of proclisis and no longer of mesoclisis.
In this way, know that, if the situation demands it, as it happened due to the presence of the adverbial denial, expressed by the "no", the use of proclisis becomes perfectly suited to discourse.
So, for you to remember the cases in which we must make use of proclisis, enclisis and mesoclisis, in order to stop making mistakes, we suggest that you access the text "pronominal placement”.
