Mathematics is fundamental for children to acquire notions of counting, quantities, logical reasoning, space and problem solving, among others.

Give each child a sheet with an image of a numeral. Hand out pieces of colored crepe paper and ask students to make small balls. Then each one will cover numeral with glue and the marbles on it.
This activity can also be done with preschool children.
9. Playful activity with colors and numbers
Select 10 plastic bottles and mark each one with a number (1 to 10). Assign one color per bottle.
Separate small balls in the chosen colors (you can make the activity even more interactive by asking students to make crepe paper balls).
Then distribute the bottles to 10 students. Each child must place in their respective bottle, balls in the corresponding color and in the quantity indicated by the number.
10. Playful activity with numbers and quantities
Cut out 10 pieces of cardboard and on each one write a numeral (1 to 10) and set aside a minimum of 10 clothes pegs.
Each child should be given a numeral on cardstock and a handful of 10 pegs. Ask the child to attach the number of pegs indicated to the cardboard.
