Irregular Verbs in Portuguese

VerbsIrregulars are all verbs that, when conjugated, undergo changes in their stem or in their endings.

Unlike regular verbs, they don't follow conjugation patterns.

Examples:

  • The verb to say (stem says-) changes its stem when conjugated: I say, say and say.
  • The verb to give presents alterations in its ending: give, give, give.
