Did you know that the poster makes up that huge variety of texts that are part of our daily lives?
During our journey through the streets, we have the opportunity to come across various types of posters. However, we never stop to observe the way in which their language is constructed.
It is a type of text that should contain a brief communication, but with a lot of clarity and objectivity, as well as illustrative images that seek to arouse people's attention.
Usually, the posters are fixed on poles, walls and walls of certain environments, where the intention is to inform about a certain event, to alert the population about something and at the same time instructing them, trying to convince the reader to purchase a certain product, among others.
As the main instrument is to establish communication, there needs to be a full understanding of what is intended to be said. For this reason, the letters must be written in larger size, providing a full visualization.
They are used according to several different situations, such as an advertising campaign against disease prevention, combating social problems, preservation of the environment, campaigns in favor of solidarity, encouragement of organ donation, protests linked to the workers' strike demanding improvement of wages, and others.
