At Carlos' school, Friday is one of the most anticipated days for everyone. It is on that day that students study Geometry, using the figures from the Geometric Blocks. The geometric figures case in wood or plastic is given to each student and from there everyone puts their imagination to work.
The block is made up of triangles, squares, rectangles and circles, with which children build countless objects such as houses, cars, buildings, locomotives, dolls, among others. Upon observing the immense joy shown by her students that day, the teacher decided to develop a scavenger hunt to reward the most beautiful object. At the end of the class, the teacher chose the three best drawings.
Carlos won the competition. He built a beautiful locomotive. Look:
Mariana took second place with her doll named Lili.
The third place was Rafael, who made with the pieces a cart surrounded by people built with the geometric pieces.
Another interesting game capable of promoting geometric constructions has blocks that fit together forming various combinations. According to these combinations and using many pieces, any child or adult can build several objects.
It's a great way to bring the family together and hold a competition involving the best geometric construction, as Carlos, Mariana and Rafael's teacher did.
