Divisibility by 2. Divisibility criterion by 2

Identifying a number that is divisible by 2 is pretty easy. Let's do an analysis of this number: it is the first of the prime numbers and it is the only prime number that is even.

At the beginning of the study of numerical sets, the teacher teaches us that an even number can always be written as twice as much as another number. Let's look at an example:

Given this fact, we can then say that for a number to be divisible by 2 it is enough that it be an even number.

But how to identify an even number? If we answer this question, we will be setting the conditions for identifying a number divisible by 2. However, this is an answer that everyone knows, it's something we learned from our first contacts with number sets.

Even number is one whose last digit is an even digit”. That is, the numbers finished at 0, 2, 4, 6, 8.
Therefore, the divisibility criterion by number 2 occurs in observing whether the last digit is even.

Some examples of numbers divisible by 2: 21502150, 11111112, 3256478, 554, 357916.

However, number two will not divide all the numbers, so it is important to understand the other divisibility criteria.
