Combination. combination of letters and numbers

Mathematics is involved in many situations in our life. With it, we can count objects, identify numbers, add, decrease, multiply, divide and use the figures we know in telephone numbers, address and identification plates of motor vehicles, number of documents and many others circumstances.
The boards are made up of letters and numbers. This combination exists so that vehicles do not have the same license plates. Current boards are made up of 3 letters and 4 numbers.

Our alphabet is made up of 26 letters, and the numbers we know have 10 symbols.

Numbers

The combination of 26 letters and 10 digits determines thousands of different plates. See how the possible number of plates is calculated:

In each of the positions involving the letters, we have 26 options and in each position of the numbers, we have 10 options. To determine the total number of plates to be formed, we just multiply all the options.
26 x 26 x 26 x 10 x 10 x 10 x 10 = 175.760.000
"One hundred and seventy-five million, seven hundred and sixty thousand plates"
