The essay text is demarcated by distinct features
# The language used follows the formal pattern, that is, the pattern established based on grammatical rules;
# In this type of text, the denotative sense of the words usually (and should) prevail, that is, the one portrayed by the dictionary, because otherwise, the use of figurative language de-characterizes the text, making it personal, subjective.
# The use of verbs in the third person singular is the most recommendable, as you choose the use of verb forms expressed in first person singular reveals a personal character, making the text not show so much credibility for the reader, as well as should.
# As for the structure, it usually consists of a introduction, represented by the part in which the subject and the thesis are presented, that is, that idea that can be discussed and argued. Next, there is the development, in which the arguments are explained, exposed, making the position taken to substantiate the thesis raised under discussion. Finally, introduce yourself the conclusion, in which, as the name implies, it is the closing of all the ideas discussed throughout the text, in which, generally, a solution to the problem addressed during the discussion is presented.
