I still remember… And nothing else matters to me...
Those days of such gentle light
That left me, always, as a memory
Any new toy at my door...
But there came a wind of hopelessness
Blowing ashes of the dead night!
And I hung in the crooked branch
All my children's toys…
Off the road after I followed... But then,
Although age and sense I seem
Do not deceive the old man who goes here:
i want my toys again
I'm a poor boy... Believe me...
Who got old, one day, suddenly...
Mario Quintana has published more than twenty books, including the book “A Rua dos Cataventos”, the first of his work
song of the drizzle
Mario Quintana has established himself as one of the greatest poets in our Literature. His verses are of a unique beauty and simplicity
On top of my roof,
Pirulin Lulin Lulin,
An angel, all wet,
Hiccup on your piccolo.
The clock will tick;
The springs creak endlessly.
the picture on the wall
Keep looking at me.
And it rains without knowing why...
And everything was always like this!
It looks like I'm going to suffer:
Pirulin lulin lulin...
Contra Poeminho
Mario Quintana died at the age of 87, in Porto Alegre, the city he moved to at the age of twenty
All those who are there
obstructing my path,
They will pass...
I bird!
