Allergies. What they consist of, what are they and how to treat allergies

In our body, there is a system called the immune system that produces cells called antibodies. Antibodies are defense cells responsible for fighting all foreign organisms that may enter our system causing us harm. When our body comes into contact with some substance, even if it is a harmless substance, our body does not accept it, and begins to produce defense cells to fight it, triggering what we call reactions allergic.

Generally, allergic reactions in our body are due to normally harmless substances, such as pollen, dust, insect venom, latex, food and medication. People who have allergic attacks very often are sensitive to more than one substance.

Allergic crises are usually accompanied by runny nose, sneezing, stuffy nose, reddened eyes and nose.

When a person is having an allergic attack, they have some symptoms such as a runny nose, sneezing, a stuffy nose, reddened eyes and nose, coughing, and wheezing. Some types of allergies are characterized by swelling of some parts of the body.

There are several types of allergies, here we will mention just a few:

v Food allergy: In this type of allergy, the person feels very bad when eating a certain type of food. Allergy to eggs, allergy to seafood, food containing milk, etc. can happen.

v Skin allergies: There are several types of allergies that occur on the skin when it comes into contact with some substances. Some types of skin allergies are eczema, contact dermatitis and hives. All of them cause a lot of redness and itching to the skin.

v Drug Allergy: In this type of allergy, the person cannot use some drugs that can trigger an allergic reaction and sometimes lead to death.

v Allergy to insect bites: the person who has this type of allergy has swelling, itching, redness and pain where the insect bit.

v Animal hair: when a person comes in contact with an animal that has hair, it triggers an allergic reaction that is characterized by sneezing, coughing, a stuffy and runny nose; and reddened eyes, throat and nose.

Allergic crises can be triggered by harmless substances

Anyone who has any type of allergic reaction to food, medication, or other reasons should seek medical attention. He is the best person to guide which medications alleviate the allergy, and also what procedures we should take if a very strong allergic reaction occurs.
