Canyons. How are canyons formed?

You çanions are ways of relief very interesting, as they form deep valleys, that is, an area of very low altitude that is surrounded by areas higher than it. They extend over very wide areas and form beautiful landscapes, those breathtaking, with great precipices and, in some places, veritable gigantic walls!

The best known and most visited canyon by tourists around the world is the Grand Canyon, located in the United States (pictured above). These elements are called external relief transformation agentsand are responsible for transforming rocks and landforms in general. It's as if they were shaped by nature over time, in a light and subtle way, giving rise to beautiful landscapes.

The canyon landscapes are sometimes so imposing that they make us realize how small we are in the face of the grandeur of natural forms. Some of its canyons have falls of up to 5,000 meters high!
