Much is said about genres, especially in most of the meetings we had, you yourself had the opportunity to meet a large majority of them, right? Well, from now on, you will get to know step by step why a certain text belonging to this or that genre, in view of the textual typologies to which each situation belongs communicative.
At this point, you may be wondering why we study this, since you already have the basic knowledge to distinguish one modality from another. Yes, but you can't forget that knowing the called textual typologies, you will acquire even more skills to produce whatever genres you ask for, as they represent the support base for all of them, right?
In this way, let's have an idea about what our subject is so important, since textual typologies can be considered as finite, while the genres, for characterizing the various socio-communicative situations that guide our daily life, are presented as countless, given the reason for revealing themselves as many. Let's go to them (textual typologies), so:
Before knowing them, it is essential to understand that the classification takes place through the way in which they are presented, according to the linguistic characteristics, that is, in this aspect, lexical and syntactic aspects predominate, use of verb tenses, logical relations, among others.
Textual typologies are characterized by linguistic aspects
narrative texts
They consist of action verbs demarcated in the time of the narrated universe, as well as of adverbs, as is the case of before, now, after, among others:
She was getting into her car when he showed up.Latera lot of conversation, they decided...
descriptive texts
As the name implies, they describe both physical and psychological characteristics about a particular individual or object. Verbal tenses appear demarcated in the present or in the imperfect past tense:
"I had the blackest hair like the wing of the rae..."
expository texts
They are intended to explain a subject or a particular situation that is intended to be developed, emphasizing the reasons for it to happen, as in:
Registration will be extended until December 2nd, so don't forget to do it, otherwise you will lose the benefit.
Injunctive texts
It is a modality in which actions are prescribed sequentially, using verbs expressed in the imperative, infinitive or future of the present.
Mix all ingredients and blend in a blender until you create a homogeneous mass.
Argumentative texts
They stand out by the predominance of argumentative operators, revealed by an ideological charge consisting of arguments and counter-arguments that justify the position taken on a given subject.
The woman of the contemporary world struggles more and more to conquer her space in the labor market, which means that genders are in complementation, not in dispute.
