Encceja 2018: tests and templates can now be consulted

This Friday, August 17, the templates of the National Examination for Certification of Skills for Young People and Adults were released (fill) 2018. The tests were applied on August 5th, for those trying to obtain certification in elementary or high school.

Understand Encceja

More than 1.6 million students have signed up for the regular edition of End 2018 breaking record in the number of subscribers. However, more than half did not attend the exams. Among the 1,695,607 subscribers, 906,123 were absent, an abstention of 53.40%.

Participants who did not attend will only be able to take the Encceja 2019 if they justify their absence. A medical certificate, court document, public certificate or police report will be accepted as justification. The justification must be made when registering Encceja 2019. Those who do not justify it will have to pay a fee, the amount of which will be announced next year.

Evidences

Encceja 2018 participants took the tests in two shifts. They had to answer four objective tests, with 30 multiple-choice questions each, and prepare an essay (high school)

Elementary School
Morning: Natural Sciences; Math
Evening: Portuguese Language, Foreign Language, Arts and Physical Education; History and geography; Essay.

High school
Morning: Natural Sciences and its Technologies; Mathematics and its Technologies
Evening: Languages, Codes and their Technologies. Human Sciences and its Technologies; Essay

For high school, the theme of the essay was "Possibilities of safe food for the Brazilian population". The high school exam asked for a text about "The risks of night work for workers' health".

Result

The result of Encceja Nacional 2018 should be released in October. Participants will have to earn a minimum of 100 points in each objective discipline for certification. In writing, the minimum grade required is 5 points.

The certifications of elementary and secondary education and the declaration of proficiency for those who did not reach the minimum score in all tests will be done by Education Departments and institutions associated with the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep).

Encceja is intended for students who have not completed their studies at the appropriate age. For elementary school certification, it is necessary to be 15 years old by the day of the exam and, for high school, 18 years.
