occultism consists of the study and practice of sciences surrounding mystery. It's the science of hidden things or study of things and phenomena for which natural laws have not yet given an explanation.
Some of the occult sciences, such as alchemy (art of transmutation of metals) and the astrology (prediction of events through the study of the stars), had some contributions in the creation of some exact sciences. Some others, like the divination, Magic and cabal, do not work according to the rules of positive science. THE levitation and the telepathy are some other sciences that are linked to the occult.
The occult can also be related to a set of philosophical systems and mysterious arts based on secret systems. Many people link the occult with Satanism and black magic, and in secret societies like the Illuminati.
The term hidden means something that is secret or mysterious. For this reason the occult is of great interest to many people, because they want to know mysterious things. Some want to know their future, resorting to a fortune-teller, who practices another form of occultism, the
fortune telling. This interest in occult things explains why there are numerous books that address the subject of the occult.There are also theories that indicate the link between occultism and mysticism in Nazism, which at times revealed an interest in objects of arcane power. In addition, several authors reveal that the occult is present in children's drawings (some of them from Disney) and also in the world of music, more specifically in rock, in lyrics hidden within the songs.
