Muslim is every individual who converts and follows the doctrine of Islam, a monotheistic religion that was supposedly founded by the prophet Mohammed.

Many people mistakenly confuse Arabs with Muslims, as if the two terms were synonymous. However, Arabic is the name given to ethnicity., while Muslim refers exclusively to people who believe in and identify with the Islamic religion.

Initially, the word Muslim would originate from the Arabic verb aslama, which originated the term muslin, which can be translated as “submitted to God” or “one who submits to the faith of God”.
