The human sciences are a set of knowledge that aims to study of man as a social being.
Also called the humanities, they carefully gather organized knowledge about human creative production and knowledge, based on specific discourses. Its aim is to unravel the complexities of society, its creations and thoughts.
It is important to keep in mind that everywhere, human beings establish relationships with each other, be they friendship, affection or power. The human sciences seek to understand how these relationships are formed and how they are established over time.
As well as the human condition, they also have a multiple character, where they address characteristics theoretical aspects such as philosophy and sociology, while addressing practical and subjective.
As an area of knowledge that aims to study the human being in sociability, the social sciences are based on disciplines such as philosophy, history, law, cultural anthropology, science of religion, archeology, social communication, psychology, art theory, cinema, administration, dance, music theory, design, literature, letters, philology, among others.
The humanities are also related to the application of content on this area of knowledge in the National Secondary Education Examination - AND EITHER, which is currently the main means of entry into Higher Education. In this exam, in the specific test of human sciences and their technologies, 45 questions are asked that involve the disciplines of history, geography, sociology and philosophy, addressing themes that promote the integration of the disciplines.

As they are sciences with very similar objects of study, it is common for them to make some confusion between the concepts of humanities and social sciences.

humanities course
Training in the humanities course can be a bachelor's or licentiate degree. It is the generalist training so that the student can work in the area of humanities, such as Law, Economics, Communication or to teach in subjects corresponding to the human sciences, such as history, geography, philosophy, among others.
It can also be offered as a bachelor's or interdisciplinary degree, under the name of Humanities, Sciences and Humanities or Humanities. The course lasts an average of three to four years.
