Fwd is an abbreviation of the English word "forward" which in the context of electronic messages means "forward". The abbreviation "Fwd:" usually appears in the subject field of an email to indicate that it is a message in which the sender has used the "Forward" option.

It is a useful option and is normally used when the user intends to divulge the contents of a received message to one or more people. However, choose the "Forward" option to send email to one or multiple recipients implies paying attention to the following topics that will help prevent email propagation unwanted (spam):

1. First, most messages forwarded on the internet are created by spammers to get email addresses. 3. An effective solution, which is part of the "Netiquette" rules, is to forward messages using the "Bcc" field (Bcc) which has the function of hiding the addresses and, before sending, erase all other visible addresses in the message.
