Deboism is a neologism that appeared on the internet as a philosophical current, where the main rule is "living good with life".
The creators of the “religion of Deboism”, Carlos Abelardo and Laryssa de Freitas, are a couple from Goiânia (capital of the Brazilian state of Goiás).
Both created a page on Facebook and began to share messages that encouraged respect and calm in the relationships between users of social networks.
The creators claim that the idea of founding deboism arose from the constant observations they made of fights and lack of understanding between people in the Facebook.
The sloth is considered the mascot of deboism, due to the sense of calm and serenity transmitted by the mammal.
However, the creators of this “doctrine” warn that the principles of deboism should not be confused with laziness or self-indulgence. The objective is to face and debate problems or challenges, but with respect, calm and, above all, peace.
