Piriguete is a slang in portuguese language, considered as a term pejorative, used to describe a provocative woman who shows interest in other people, even if one of the parties is in a relationship.
Piriguetes are independent and liberal women, who seek to have several sexual relationships without establishing too assertive criteria for their choices. This word is often used in a derogatory sense to describe a futile woman who only thinks of fun and pleasure.
One of the popular characteristics of the piriguettes is that they don't get emotionally attached to their partners easily, as they are not looking for a lasting relationship.
It would be a designation created to classify women who love going to parties, usually single, and who don't mind winning over married men. They are also usually indifferent about the opinion of others about their look, for example.

Etymologically, the word piriguette would be the combination of "danger" and "girl” (“girl”, in English), creating the meaning of “dangerous girl”.
Supposedly the origin of this term has arisen in the outskirts of the metropolitan region of Salvador, Bahia.
