Meaning of Prose (What it is, Concept and Definition)

Prose is the natural style of speaking and writing, with absence of musicality, rhyme, rhythm and other particularities of the poetic structure. It consists of the everyday conversation used by people to rationally express themselves.

The prose text is objective and unambiguous, usually presenting an analysis and narration on a certain subject, for example.

There are two main types of prose: narrative and demonstrative. THE narrative prose it is fictional history, like short stories, chronicles, novels and novels, for example, a set that forms the so-called "literary prose".
