Some examples of extrasensory perception are: telepathy (when there is transfer of content or thoughts between two people), clairvoyance (clearly see objects or events even from a distance) and precognition/precognition (knowledge of a fact that will occur in the future).

According to psychology, perception consists of an organization and interpretation of stimuli that were received by the senses and which makes it possible to identify certain objects and events.

Perception has two stages, the sensory and the intellectual. The two complement each other, because sensations do not provide a real vision of the world, and must be worked on by the intellect.

Perception in Philosophy

It consists of a concept that describes a situation in which the spirit intuitively captures external stimuli.

Different thinkers and philosophers have described perception in different ways. For Descartes, perception is the whole act of intelligence. According to Leibniz, it is a transitory state that involves multiple processes.
