Meaning of Score (What it is, Concept and Definition)

Score is an English noun meaning punctuation. In a game, the score sets the total points obtained by each player or team.

In English computer games, the word score appears very often to indicate how many points the player has achieved in a given game. highscore stands for "high score" and defines the highest population in a game.

The verb "to score" means "to score points" to win a game or something that is expected to be successful.

The Balanced Scorecard (BSC) is a strategic planning methodology used in Business Management aimed at balancing or integration of all elements (financial, administrative and other internal processes) that define the performance of a company. Through the BSC it is possible for the company to establish clear objectives based on the indicators obtained.

The BSC tool was developed in 1992 by Robert S. Kaplan and David P. Norton. A literal translation of "Balanced Scorecard" might be "Balanced Scorecard".
